Prepare a Book Presentation

Work through the columns from left to right.

Presentation time: 5 to 10 minutes.

Title, author, year of publication, number of pages, genre

Summarize the plot in 5 sentences without revealing the ending

Who are the characters and how are they connected?

Choose an exciting passage (about 1 minute), note the page number, and practise reading it

1. Show the book and give the basic information

2. Explain what it is about

3. Read the selected passage

4. Give my opinion with reasons

5. Take questions from the class

Practise in front of family or a mirror, time yourself, and speak loudly and slowly

Use keywords only; do not read full sentences

Bring the book and prompt card, mark the reading passage with a sticky note, and take a deep breath
