With photos, it becomes a garden diary over the years.

Prepare beds, start the first seeds indoors (tomatoes, peppers)

Scarify the lawn, divide perennials, plant potatoes

After the last frost: move young plants outside and plant containers

Water in the morning or evening; mulching saves water

Remove faded flowers

Harvest regularly: note what, when, and how much here

Plant spring-flowering bulbs, complete the final harvest, clear the beds

Rake leaves (leave some for hedgehogs), move sensitive containers indoors, turn off the water

Maintain tools, review and order seeds, plan for the new year

Refill and clean feeding stations regularly

Note: the tomatoes were too close together; only 3 plants next year
