School-Start Checklist (Year 1)

All items are suggestions from our school.

Please label everything with your child's name.

The school office will be happy to help with any questions.

Lightweight and ergonomic, with reflectors

2 writing exercise books, ruling type 1

1 maths exercise book, ruling type 7

Covers: red for English, blue for maths

The class teacher will provide the exact list

A4 communication folder, homework diary, lunch box, and water bottle

2 HB pencils, thick coloured pencils, eraser, pencil sharpener with container

A fountain pen and felt-tip pens will be needed later; the class teacher will let you know

Sports shoes with light-coloured soles, T-shirt, shorts

Everything labelled and packed in a fabric bag

Walk the route together several times and point out safe places to cross

Enrolment ceremony: DD.MM., 9:00 a.m.

First regular school day: DD.MM.

Your child does not need to be able to read or calculate yet. Curiosity and excitement are more than enough.
